The First Symposium of the BRICS Association on Gravity,

Astrophysics and Cosmology (BRICS-AGAC)

Yangzhou University, China

Oct. 18-20, 2017

Considering that notable progresses have been made in studies of gravitation, astrophysics and cosmology among BRICS countries in the past decades, the BRICS Association on Gravity, Astrophysics and Cosmology (BRICS-AGAC) was just established at the end of the last year. Now we are delighted to announce that the first symposium of BRICS-AGAC will be held at the recently-founded Center on Gravitation and Cosmology, Yangzhou University, China, from Oct. 18-20, 2017. Please join us in Yangzhou to celebrate the establishment of our Association. We look forward to your participations and sharing your important results and achievements in theoretical and observational studies in gravity, astrophysics and cosmology among the BRICS scientists. Your participations of the symposium are crucial in improving the quality of research in our fields and stimulating young researchers in our member countries.

Besides BRICS scientists, we will also gather other international renowned scientists, professors and research professionals. We aim to provide a platform for the interaction between BRICS experts and other experts around the world under a single roof.

We hope that the symposium can accelerate scientific discoveries, collaborations and exposing major milestones in the research field of gravitation and cosmology.
